Last updated: 25 June 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using HerePDF (herepdf.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the site.

2. Description of service

HerePDF provides free, browser-based PDF tools including merging, splitting, rotating, compressing, and converting PDF files. All processing occurs entirely within your browser. No files are transmitted to or stored on our servers.

The service is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising. An ad-free experience is available via a one-time upgrade.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use HerePDF only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Use the service to process files you do not have the right to access or modify.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise interfere with the site.
  • Use automated tools to access the site at a rate that would degrade its availability for other users.

4. No warranty

HerePDF is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your specific requirements. You use the service at your own risk.

Always retain a copy of your original files before processing them with any tool, including HerePDF.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HerePDF and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Third-party services

HerePDF uses third-party services that have their own terms and privacy policies:

7. Intellectual property

HerePDF is built on open-source libraries including pdf-lib and PDF.js. The site's design, copy, and original code are owned by HerePDF's operators. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without permission.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
